|
Powdered zinc and hydrolysed ethyl silicate based primer, air hardening by action of humidity. It forms an opaque metallic grey film. The metallic zinc in contact with the iron surface acts as a sacrificial anode, protecting the surface from corrosion. Normally used as anticorrosion protection for naval structures, port equipment, petrochemical product tanks, pilings etc.
Spray apply with traditional or airless equipment or, for small areas, by brush.
